Matthew had been to some practices but his team (The Pirates) hadn't had any games yet when Matthew broke his wrist. He broke it by falling off our playground set. He was carrying a bucket of sand up the ladder and didn't duck his head at the top and hit the board and fell back. Anyways, he was gone almost the whole season. They had some makeup games because so many got rained out so the season went all the way into June which was great. Matthew got to play 4 games and had a lot of fun.
