I know I'm not usually the one doing the posts, but I just felt the need to contribute. Since Jill has been gone, I have been all alone at home and studying for Step 1 of the Boards. However, I have to admit that my energy has not been entirely focused on my studies. I have also been spending my time in another pursuit, which I would like to now share with the world. This is the official STEP 1 PLAYOFF BEARD!!!!! (or at least all that I could get grown in 9 days). Since I gave up my dream of becoming a professional hockey player at the age of 13, I have either never had reason to or never had Jill allow me to grow it out. So, here it is in all of its glory and I will make sure and shave it for you before I come out to Idaho, Jill...

First week in Idaho....for you Glen!

Little Taylor and Grace.....2 weeks apart

We have been having a great time here in Idaho. It's always refreshing to be out on the farm and see for miles. Our plane ride was a little rough with the kids but we survived and luckily Glen will be with me on the way home. Matthew has been in heaven here; playing in the sandbox, getting dirty, playing with cousins, sitting in all the tractors and combines, going on 4-wheeler rides, and riding on the kayak at my parents house on the river. Matthew had a some cough/asthma issues but he is getting better now. Taylor had a high fever and we ended up taking her to the doctor. She ended up having an ear infection. She is also getting better thankfully. So besides a few hard nights things have been great.

Heidi, Matthew, and Thomas had so much fun being pulled by the 4-wheeler in this little wagon all over the yard and over by the tractors. They didn't want to get off. Ashley and I went yesterday for a ride with the babies and the boys.

This was a fun park in Burley that we went to yesterday called Story Book Park. It was really cute.

I hope you like the pictures Glen!! We love you so much and miss you tons. I am so proud of you for working so hard. You are going to do awesome tomorrow on your test and I am so excited for you to be done. I know you will do great and I wish I was there to be with you and cheer you on. We are always thinking about you though and are so excited to see you on Monday. I love you!

Primary Activity and Babies.......Lots of babies!

We had a PJ'S party (prayer, journals, scriptures) and it turned out great. The kids decorated journals, made creature looking prayer rocks, and acted out scripture stories. They were surprised at the end of the activity when we said they were going to write all over the Bishop's van with sidewalk chalk. We have a great Bishop who owns this big van to help transport people to church and other church activities. The "Dewey Mobile," doesn't really have a paint job and we told the kids they couldn't go home and do this to their parent's cars. They had so much fun! Matthew is on the very right not caring that we were trying to take pictures. I have loved serving in the Primary Presidency; I have grown to really love all of these kids.

I took Matthew and Taylor with me because Glen was studying and they did surprisingly well. Matthew had a lot of fun.

BABIES
This is all the babies in our ward except for three that weren't there. Taylor is the oldest which means around 15 babies under 8 1/2 months. CRAZY!! We had one move in this last month and a couple will be leaving soon (mostly girls). Taylor will have lots of boyfriends the next two years we are here. It was so cute seeing all of them and funny to watch their facial expressions. Taylor did well until cute little Max barely touched her face or head or something. Taylor can be so sensitive at times and sometimes Matthew can tackle her and she doesn't cry. What a girl!!!

"I got the keys....now what do I do...HELP mommy"

Taylor made her first real moves forward last Sunday before church. We were all very excited as we cheered her on. She is getting better each day but doesn't want to crawl too much. I see her crawling toward something she wants as she is crying......pretty funny. She will eventually love it I hope. She goes maybe 3 feet and is done with it. She just needs to learn to get back to sitting and then she would be happy. She looks so cute crawling though!
