Family pictures fall 2010, and two new posts below!

My good friend Julie took these pictures of us at the botanical gardens this last fall and I love them. I still haven't framed any of them or printed any out but it is on my long to do list!!

update

The weather has been so nice here lately and it is amazing how a little sunshine can make you feel. The kids were equally as happy as I was to hit the parks again, go for walks, and ride bikes. I came into the living room to find Matthew and Taylor sitting like this on the couch watching a movie. I thought it was the cutest thing ever!! I especially love to see where their hands are in both of these pictures....so sweet!
Taylor dancing away while Matthew was at preschool; it is nice to have a little time with just Taylor even if it is just once a week that Matthew has preschool.

These are the outfits the kids picked out the other day, not really a surprise but still I am not sure why I have not put those shorts of Matthew's into a box in the garage....they are just a little small! I have a box full of their summer clothes ready to go although I should have put it up higher for another month because they usually choose to wear their swimsuits around the house complete with goggles and floaties.
I know the picture is blurry but Matthew took it and was very proud.
Valentines Day and the go to face when the camera comes around.

Get away

A couple of weeks ago we headed up to Detroit for the weekend; I really was needing to get out of the house. People have asked me a lot how it is being so far away from my family; and it is true that most of my family is very far away but Glen's parents are family and I just love them. They are only an hour and a half away and are the sweetest people. We have been so blessed to be so close to them and are sure going to miss them when we move in June. We were able to go to the temple while we were there and we went out to dinner with Glen's parents without the kids. We left them at the house to fend for themselves :) (Joanne got a girl from their ward to babysit).

Popcorn movie night

Popcorn movie night has become a weekly tradition at our house and the kids love it. We don't always pull out the blow up mattress but it is a lot more fun when we do. I love the second picture because Matthew and Taylor both look like they have huge bellies; must have been all the popcorn!

Hard to stay awake

Taylor falls asleep quite often on the drive home from church on Sundays. That does not surprise me considering church starts at 1:00. What surprises me is that she sometimes will stay asleep when I bring her into the house and lay her on our kitchen floor. I guess since I find it so surprising I usually have to take a picture. I thought I had more than these but I can't find them. I hope we have 9:00 church when we move to Memphis!
These pictures were after we got back from the zoo a few weeks ago. I even bought them a hamburger from McDonalds on the way home to try and keep them awake. The crazy thing is that they stayed asleep like this for an hour. I put their hamburgers in the fridge and ate the fries myself that I would have shared with them. Matthew remembered I bought fries and was not too happy when he woke up to find out they were gone. You can't waste hot fries especially when you rarely buy them!
