Who's Who? 6 months old

Taylor is now 6 months old; I can't believe it. Here are some of her many faces. I love the one on the top. She is always doing funny things with her tounge. I can't get enough of this little girl. I found some pictures of Matthew around this same age. They do look a lot alike. I think Taylor has rounder eyes and her smile is a little different. The pictures of them not smiling look the most alike to me.

Matthew is on top and Taylor on the bottom up above. Right away they for sure looked alike. It's one of the first things I said after she was born.

The swimming picture is of Matthew in case you couldn't tell. Matthew was just overall bigger too. He had huge hands and weighed 18 pounds at 4 months. Taylor has such narrow feet compared to Matthew's.

Ward Luau

Our ward had a Luau a few weeks ago and it was a lot of fun. Glen really impressed me with his limbo skills. I had no idea! He stayed in close until the end. A few shorter and more flexible girls won him but for a guy I was impressed. I love our ward and feel so blessed to be where we are right now.

TOLEDO ZOO


Matthew's teddy bear got hurt pretty good (his bum broke open and the little balls went all over the washing machine) Glen and Matthew took him to the doctor. It was pretty funny. They even put Matthew's little mask over the bears face and gave him anethesia. Surgeon Glen came and sewed him up and now Teddy Bear is all fixed up and doing great. It was pretty funny!
Matthew went to the dentist over spring break and did really good. It was fun to watch him as they cleaned his teeth; he seemed so grown up

Weekend with Daddy

Glen and Matthew got to spend the weekend together and with Glen's parents in Michigan while I was out in Idaho. It sounds like they all had a great time. Here is Matthew playing one of Glen's guitars and riding a horse.

Weekend with the Harper Clan

Taylor and I made it back from Idaho on Monday. We had a great trip despite being a little sick and not getting much sleep. Taylor had her moments on the flights but we survived. It was so fun seeing everyone and going to the temple with all of my brothers, sisters, and parents. My little brother Jonathan leaves for his mission to Toronto, Canada in May. I'm glad I got to see him before he left. We had a lot of fun and it went way too fast. I was glad everyone finally got to meet Taylor. On Tuesday I took the kids to the zoo because it was such a beautiful day. I think we will be going there a lot this summer. Life never seems to slow down here at our house. Matthew started throwing up yesterday and had a really rough night last night. Yesterday we all woke up sneezing like crazy. Is it really allergy time already. I hope Matthew is over it today. Poor kid! So today will be a lazy day of watching cartoons and movies. Last week was Glen's spring break and we had a lot of fun. We bought a car, went on some walks in the nice weather, went swimming, went to the mall and toy store, and just enjoyed being together.

TAYLOR BUGGY

Glen had spring break last week and we went swimming at the Hilton by the medical school. The water is sooo warm there which was great for Taylor.

Taylor is doing good and is so fun. She is a happy little girl and loves attention, especially from Matthew. She is always following him with her eyes and can't even focus to eat when he is around. We have to leave the room. Matthew gets her to laugh the most. She is sitting up which is so great because it makes her so happy. She is still a little tipsy sometimes so I put the boppy or pillows around her usually or just sit close to her. We started rice cereal this month and she loves it. She seems very intersted in food and I wish I could just feed her everything already. She always reaches for my cup and starts licking her lips so I usually give her a little. She wakes up early just like Matthew although she was so nice and slept until about 7:30 this morning. CRAZY! She usually wakes up around 5:15-6:00. From most everyone we are told she is a mini Matthew. I will have to put up some pictures of them both at this age and see what everyone thinks.
