Christmas break....picture overload!

We had such a great Christmas break and it is always sad to leave. Matthew talks about his cousins and tells me frequently that we should go get on an airplane again to go back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The break was full of games, karaoke, bowling, snowmobiling, and just lots of fun with the family. These pictures are all out of order and there are a ton. Before getting on the airport we were able to stop at Temple Square and see the temple. It has been years since Glen and I have been there.
Giving kisses to cousin Grace. They are two weeks apart
Matthew got to ride in a tractor with Grandpa
My Dad and brother probably watching football
Banging pans at 10:00 on New Years Eve. They had no clue it wasn't 12 so we did it early to put them to bed.
Christmas morning
My sister, two brothers and mom. We were missing my brother Jonathan who is on a mission and my sister Holly who is about to have a baby any day who lives in California. We missed them!!
Matthew had a lot of fun with Thomas and Heidi. He and Heidi got married quite a few times, so funny.

Taylor really liked my mom. My brother gave Taylor the nickname of cheese. I wish I could get a picture of the smile she gives when you say that.

We had a Christmas party at my parents house on the river and Santa brought a karaoke machine. We had a lot of fun singing and Matthew and Heidi joined in with Jingle Bells and I am a child of God.

My mom had a lot of fun games for the kids that night
We went snowmobiling and I got to take Matthew which was a lot of fun. He really liked it.

First time with pigtails
Christmas day...we got this really cute quilt from my parents that matches the stocking that I have for our little family.
We forgot Matthew's presents in Toledo and ended up buying a few little things to give him on Christmas day. Taylor got her one present at home and my mom thought she had to have something to get Christmas morning so she bought a doll and stroller for Taylor that she will just keep at her house for the grand kids. Taylor really liked the stroller. I need to buy her one here.
Putting out some food for the reindeer (oats)
Acting out the nativity
Christmas Eve
Grace, Taylor and Thomas
Getting out all the clothes for the nativity that night
Giving baby Jesus a kiss

We had direct flights both ways so we didn't bring our double stroller. On our way out our flight got canceled and we got into Salt Lake seven hours later than planned. We had to walk a ton and this is how Matthew traveled a lot of the time. I'm glad we brought this suit case as a carry on. It made us laugh and everyone else around us as well. He loved it!
We went up to Michigan before heading out to Idaho so we had a little Christmas there too.
We also opened a few presents at home before we left. Matthew loves these blocks so we bought both him and Taylor a bag. We can now build huge towers.
Taylor dancing to the music her little airplane makes
Families are the greatest and I sure think I have a great one. We have the best time together. I only wish I could see them more often. We are now home and settled in. Glen is busy as he is now in his surgery rotation. He is enjoying it so that is good.
