We had a great time visiting Glen's parents and grandparents. Matthew warmed up very quickly and was quite the entertainer talking constantly. He is very good at responding to questions and confirming what he says himself by saying "uh-huh" or "yeah." It is pretty funny. He loved exploring two different houses and did very well with all the changes. He even was pretty good on the 4 1/2 hour drive to Toronto. The drive back to Michigan was not as enjoyable and very loud. Oh well!! Matthew's favorite word these days is papa. He called both Glen's Dad and Grandad papa all the time. We also got to attend the temple which was great. It is always nice to visit with family and get away from home sometimes.

Oh man, these pictures are so great! I love Matthew in the carseat with a helmut. That's awesome. It's so cute how he is smiling in all the pictures. Thomas always has such a serious face. I'm glad you guys had a good break, sorry the ride home wasn't too great! By the way you look great and so little, hardly even pregnant looking in the full picture of you.
Glen and Jill rule!!! Matthew is the coolest one-year-old I've ever seen! Glad to see you guys are doing so well. We've been in Houston for a couple weeks now. School starts next week so we've had fun not having anything to do except watch three seasons of the office in two weeks. It was probably a little much since we now talk about the characters as if they are real people. We also survived a hurricane. OK well, it didn't exactly hit houston, but it was close and dumped tons of rain on us. By the way, Kristen just cut her hair exactly like Jill's new do. You know us, we always are just a couple of steps behind you. You get married, we do. Med school... us too! Little boy... now we've got one! Please don't do anything drastic!
