Our poor Matthew has had a horrible cough and has not been sleeping very much. He coughs so hard it just wakes him up. Because of this Glen and I have also been a little sleep deprived. I had to take a picture of Matthew asleep on our LIVING ROOM FLOOR. For those of you who really know Matthew you know that he has never been an easy child to get to sleep. He was never one of those babies you could just rock to sleep even from birth. We had to try everything as he has grown. Luckily he is very good at talking/singing himself to sleep in his crib but only his crib. Yesterday he was looking a little tired as he was rolling around on the floor with his blanket. I about died with shock when all of a sudden he was asleep. That shows how sleep deprived he must of been to do that. It was only 9:15 in the morning. He usually naps around 12:30. Sadly he woke up after ten minutes from coughing and went back to sleep two different times after that for just a few minutes. It was quite a sight for me.

Matthew discovered this cupboard the other day for the first time. You can get into it from two sides, one side is from the bathroom. He will climb through it over and over; he thinks it's pretty funny and I don't mind something that keeps him occupied for awhile.

I was trying to put this saucer away since it has just been sitting in Matthew's room without being played with. He kept whining about something and I finally realized he wanted me to tip it over so he could get inside. He thought it was a blast.

coughing babies are miserable! I hope he's on the mend soon!!
Oh man, I can't believe he still sleeps with his bum high in the air like that. It's so funny! Jill, I hope the cough gets better and you can get some rest. I am dying looking at all these pictures because it just makes me want to live close to you. I know Thomas and Matthew would be like twins the way they play. Please tell Glen to drop out of medical school, and come be bums with us? Or I guess we could just try to find a job there? Whichever is easiest:-)
Ahhhhh, poor Matthew!! When your baby doesn't sleep life can be a little rough! I hope his cough goes away... fast!!
How sad Nothing is worse than sick kids. I always just slept with them on my chest, so they could get some sleep!! Even when they are older it works. TO bad. I had the flu last week and no fun to be sick
Matthew is so cute and I love the way he sleeps. Isn't it funny once you want to put away a toy, they want it!!
