Finally

We just got home last night from our three week trip out to Idaho and Utah. We spent a week in Bear Lake and it was a lot of fun. Everyone in my family was there except for Nolan, Ashley, and Thomas. We had a great time mini golfing, wakeboarding, wake-surfing, riding in the new boat, building sand castles, swimming, eating, and just hanging out. Matthew did pretty well besides being sick for our whole trip. He really liked his grandma and papa. His vocabulary really took off while we were out there. Some of his favorite words of the trip were: Utah, Grandma, papa's big truck, big boat, Ashley, Heidi's house, applesauce, tractor, shovel, and many others. Glen and I were amazed everyday with how much he was saying. We spent the rest of the time in Malta at my parent's house. Matthew was so cute with my parents and brother Jonathan. He also really liked his cousins who live next door to my parents. He was always so concerned with all of his Grandma's uh oh's and would go into her room and give her some water and these little sponges that she used to do hand exercises. It was so great to be with family. I wish we could see everyone more often but we sure have fun when we are together. My mom is doing pretty good right now. It was hard to see her go downhill and have to go back to the hospital but now she is home and is getting stronger. It was nice to be able to help out a little. Glen did most all of the cooking. He is such a great husband!! It is really nice to be home and hopefully get Matthew on some sort of a schedule again. He was a trooper for how much we hauled him around and slept pretty well most of the time.
